More presents

Christmas continues. Last night, the postman delivered two more boxes from the Faroes. One of the presents was a beautiful knitted blanket for Annika and a shirt for me. The other had several presents for all of us. Annika got clothes and I got a puzzle, a craft set and a Lego dump truck. We built all the presents and I had a blast.
It was a little chilly outside last night and since we walked down to play with Cameron, we all for dressed up in our jackets and sweaters. Annika, on the other hand, looked more like a little burrito.
This is what she looks like when she is not a burrito.
Oh, and see what Santa in Denmark put in Annika's stocking!

Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas! This year, we celebrated the event at Aunt Christi's on Christmas Eve. We arrived around noon and I had a blast playing with all my cousins and Gizmo. The food was good and I ate a lot of it too. Finally! We got to open presents. I received clothes and toys: A pinball machine, trains and a crayon/ABC box. Thank you for my presents!!
We got home after six and spent the evening at home opening presents for us four. There were so many presents under the tree and we ended up saving a few for Christmas Morning. I opened my presents and Annika's presents too. We got more clothes and lots of toys.

Before we went to bed, we prepared the fireplace for Santa. We made sure it was clean and put out cookies and milk. It took a while to fall asleep, because I was so excited and could only think about Santa coming down the chimney. On Christmas Morning, I was so super excited and headed straight for the fireplace. I didn't notice all the presents, he'd left for us. The only thing, I noticed was: Cookies and milk were gone and the fireplace was a mess.... Yeah! Santa came by!!! Finally, I noticed, he'd brought me a big car and trains.... just what I wanted!! Thank you Santa!!
It took 5 seconds to finish breakfast, another 2 seconds to get dressed and finally, I was outside, testing my new ride!
A cool dude! Later, omma and abbi came by and they got to see my new car too.
I hope, you had a wonderful Christmas as well!

Christmas countdown

This year we decided to bake cookies and boil klejnur (Scandinavian Christmas cookies) since omma sent spices. I had a blast mixing the dough and watch the klejner boil.
There is nothing like fresh, warm cookies.
Cameron and I have played a lot lately, since I have been home more. One evening, babba, Cameron and I played with this remotely controlled helicopter, Santa in Denmark had sent. Babba flew the helicopter and Cameron and I took turns catching it.
Another evening, we visited Cameron and had pizza and painted noodles for a Christmas decoration.

Ironing

Preparing for the family Christmas gathering....

Babba taught me how to iron my shirt. It is easy, but very very hot. Babba also says he needs to teach Aunt Christi and Uncle Steve.

Photos

Here are a few photos from today. Annika eats like a man and on Friday, the pediatrician was happy to tell us, Annika had gained 1lb 2oz in two weeks.
Even a big stretch doesn't help much when you are in the 5th percentile (this means that 5% infants are smaller and 95% are bigger than you)
Santa in the Faroes sent this purple teddy bear to Annika.

Big brother Benjamin borrowed babba's glasses.... he looks like one smart big brother :)
