Guests and lawn mower

Hi,

Today, we had a lot of visitors. First, grandma and granddad came by. Granddad came to help dad with something called lectricity. I don't know what it is, but it comes out of the wall. I decided to go to the stores with mom and grandma. I fell asleep after they went home and when I woke back up, Mary, aunt Christi and uncle Steve were here. I only took a short nap and was grumpy when I woke up.
Later, after dinner, I got to go outside and my good mood returned. When grandma and granddad came by earlier today, they gave me a lawn mower. It says wwwrrruuummmm and makes soap bubbles. They said it was a house warming gift. I hope they don't expect me to mow the big lawn myself!!!! I have to admit: I do look good with my mower.
Bbbbblllllll.......
I had to check the mower out and tried to figure out where the bubbles came from. When I first took it outside and bubbles came out of it, I was only able to walk a few steps, saw the bubbles and forgot to mow as I chased the bubbles down. Dad has a mower too, but mine is cooler.

Monster!!!!

My new favorite activity!!

We've moved

Hi,

We've moved! Wednesday, a big truck pulled up in front our house. Dad, granddad and some other men carried all the big boxes, mom wiped the house down and I played with grandma. I wanted to help the men with the big boxes, but the boxes were too big for me. Then, then big truck drove over to our other house and all the boxes were carried into our new house. A lot of boxes were carried into my room and they were all full of toys!! But, let me show you our new home:

The walkway into our house and the window to the guest room.
This is the view from our house. Last night, we walked over to our mail box and I saw a lot of other kids play outside. There are almost no cars on our street. When we moved in, all the neighbors came over to say hello.
This is our hall way.
Then den and fireplace. Both the furniture and walls are brown, so everything seems to be a little brown right now. But, maybe it will look a little less brown when when we get something up on the wall.
Here is dad!! He is also a little brown and matches everything else in the house. Our new kitchen is bigger and we have a big food pantry. But, that is fine, because I am a big boy and eat a lot. I would love to fill up our food pantry with Oreos!
This is my room!! My new room is a little bigger, but so far, I have only slept there. There is too much going on around me and I want to be sure that I do not miss a single thing.
This is mom's and dad's bedroom.
Here I am playing outside their bedroom window.
We have a big back yard. I have considered moving outside. I don't like to be stuck indoor all day and prefer the great outdoor.
This is the back of our house. And, I have my climber and the sandbox set up already.

Dad and I

These past couple of days, dad and I have had our guy time. Yesterday, I had to be picked up early from daycare. All of a sudden I was running a high fever. As soon as I came home, the fever disappeared. I know, I already know how to play hookie, yeah! The doctor had given me some shots the day before and I think that is what it was.

At home, I decided to have a little picnic in the back. The weather was perfect for an Oreo and some juice in the back yard.
Time for a bike ride. Since I no longer had fever and was as well as ever, we went out for a ride in the car.
From one car to another. This one does not have the dvd player, but at least I got to drive around myself... with two steering wheels. Here I come, move over!!!
Later, after dinner, time for a bath and then on with the little dragon. Dad and I put on a dvd and then I went to bed.
This morning, I stayed at home for a little while. So, dad and I went over to McDonalds for breakfast. Afterwards, we headed over to daycare. Dad had to do some touch up painting at our house. I offered to help, because I am a good painter, specially finger painting. Anyway, he decided it was better if I did not help out. He came to pick me up when he was done and we went out for a bike ride to the park.
The big slides are no problem. Dad and I raced and I won.
Boo!! ha ha!!
So, what do you say? Are you up for a race? I am fast!
Then, we rode the bike back home, put on our speedos and headed for the pool. I am kind of cool in my speedos. I just have to remember to suck in my tummy when the camera is pointing at me:)
I am not sure what we are going to do tomorrow, but since it's the weekend, I plan on waking up early and not miss a single minute of the weekend!

Things this weekend

Hello,

This was a good weekend because dad came home from the big boat and we have played a lot (I am a little bit of a daddy's boy). I also got rid of all the rash and got to go over and spend the day with grandma and granddad.

The rash was at its peak on Friday, but the nurse told us this was normal and in a couple of days it should be gone.
Friday morning, both mom and dad were at home with me. I woke up to kolaches and chocolate milk and when we were done eating, I got to go outside to play soccer with dad. I finally started saying "mamma" (mom) and "babba" (dad). Later that morning, I went to daycare. The doctor said I was good to go. While I was playing with my friends, mom and dad went out house hunting. Saturday morning, we all went out house hunting and got to see the houses on the inside too. Later in the evening, we went bike riding to see a couple more houses. I love going bike riding and had a hard time waiting for dad to put the cart together and as soon as he was done, I climbed right in.
Sunday morning, I slept in really late. Then, a little after I woke up, grandma and granddad came to pick me up. Mom and dad had to clean out the garage and the attic. I love d spending the day with grandma and granddad. They have all these different toys and I also volunteered for yard work.
Big truck....bbbllll
The weather was perfect over the weekend. As the rash faded, I was allowed more time outside in the sun and in the pool.
Looking forward to next weekend already.

Allergies

Yesterday, I had to be picked up early from daycare, because I had these big, red spots all over my body and they itched! When we came home, I had to take a couple of oatmeal baths and they helped for a little but, but then all over again. In the end, the baths and creams helped and I finally fell asleep. This morning, the rash was even worse and we went to see the doctor. She said, I am allergic to penicillin. So, now I hope to get over this rash as soon as possible. The weather is good and I can not go outside and show off my muscles looking like this!!

Day light savings

This weekend, we moved the clock up one hour and I have been a little off all all day long. All though, I don't think it has anything to do with the time change. I just didn't want to take my nap today, there was too much going on. In stead of napping, we went over to a neighbor for lunch. He had all of his family over and we were also invited. His family is big and loud and so, I felt right at home!! Oh, and he has three dogs!!! I still didn't want to take a nap when we came back home and instead, I played outside all afternoon. I was so warm in my clothes and in the end, I got to take them off and wear nothing but my diaper and SPF 30. I kept on going until 5pm, when I crashed and slept for a few hours. I woke op for a little bit and because i was thirsty and I went back to bed. Also, see how everything is blooming in our yard these days! Here are only a few boxes. It looks like this through out our entire house. I help with the packing too and I push the boxes to where they are needed. We got a lot of boxes today from a couple of friends.
Dad will be back home in only 4 days!! He'll be home Thursday night and I'll be sleeping when he comes home! Can't you tell how excited he is to see me???Benjamin

We are packing

Hi,

Here are a few photos from this afternoon. The weather was super and I was able to run around in a diaper only. Now, I can work on my tan for real. I like the even tan and not the farmer's tan! Then, mom ruined it! She started watering the lawn. I love water and headed strait for it, but it was sooooo cold!!Packing time! Boxes are scattered all over the house and by now it's starting to look a little empty in here. I am done packing and ready, what are we waiting for???? (I do use my pacifier a lot these days. I am teething and need something to chew on. My mouth is really hurting and the pacifier is the best medicine.)
These boxes are so big...... I can barely reach...
ugh.... finally!!!!!

Little Tarzan

Police Man

Hi,

See my new sports outfit? Dad likes to dress me up like the Longhorns and mom likes to dress me up like VÍF (a local Faroese Team). My god mother sent me the shoes from the Faroes and so, I made sure to get an outfit to match.
This morning, it was really foggy outside. See grandma, it's also foggy here and not only where you live in the Faroes! We were up at 6am and as soon as got light outside, I was banging on the door to get outside. It was a little chilly and I had to wear my warm sweater
When I was done playing outside, I had to take off all my clothes and was put in the bathroom sink. Time for a haircut again. After the haircut, I noticed that I have finally grown some hair on my chest - just like dad!!! Now I am a real man!! But, then I had to take a shower and had to watch as my chest hair disappeared down the drain. It's not fair!!
To make up for it, I got to wear my police uniform today. I went straight to work. I have inspected the entire house from top to bottom and it seems to be fine. I inspected the food pantry too, no problems there either. I saw a couple of speeding cars, but I don't have my drivers licence yet and couldn't chase them!In the end, I had to give in and take a nap. It's hard to be both an avid sports fan and a police man at the same time!

New Tent

Today, I had a great time in daycare. On my way home, I stopped at a toy store. I love toy stores!!! There were so many toys and my favourite toy was the railway. I drove the trains around on the tracks... choo choo!! I want one of these!!! Actually, I want everything in the store!!!Then, we headed over to another store and I got to ride in the car....bbbbbbllllllll, duuut duuuut, step aside, here I come!!! I had to get something for my mouth and new teeth. My mouth is still hurting and the other kids always steal my pacifier.
Cocoa came to greet me as soon as we pulled up the car. She came into the garage and said hello and I scratched her neck. I like Cocoa. Today is trash day, and I always help carrying the lid for the trash can into the house. All the duties of the man-of-the-house!!! When I made it into the back yard, I got a tent. My own tent!! Now, I can just live out doors and never have to go inside again. I can just yell, if I need anything. Life is good!
Every day, I practice throwing the ball all the way up in the air. I want to throw it up on the roof and then let it roll back down again. I still need to practice a little.
Guess what? Dad will be home in only one week!!!
