We did just about everything there is to do there. We rode the train..... several times. Every time the conductor rang the bell, I dropped everything and ran straight over to the train.
This is where I am going to work one day.
We tried to catch crawfish and almost caught a few. They would grab the bait, but then they fell off as we pulled them out of the water
I fed Bambi some breakfast.
And Bambi's mother too.
Loved the rabbits!!! I visited them many times and fed them lots and lots of food.
I pretended to ride a horse.
And I got to sit on a real horse.
I made a new friend, who kept following me around.
I didn't like having to peek through the fence, and started climbing up on it in order to see over it.
Finally, we found all the balls. I jumped, jumped and jumped for at least a whole hour.
I had such a great time and didn't want to go back home. We were there for 4 hours and I fell asleep in the car on our 5 min drive home. I was exhausted from all the running and jumping and slept for almost 3 hours!!

All Friday and Saturday, we sanded down the dining furniture. Dad did most of the work and mom and I helped out. The furniture looked so good and mom and dad were debating on whether to leave them like that or to stain them.
They decided to stain. But, since they hadn't done their homework, the result was not quite as they had expected. The tried to sand down the table one more time, but that didn't quite work either. Needless to say, we headed over to IKEA.
Easter morning and the Easter Bunny had stopped by during the night. I must have been a really good boy, because I got a basket full of candy and then a baseball bat and baseballs.
I have practiced and practiced ever since and now I am good at hitting only the ball!!
The Easter Bunny showed up all of a sudden. Mary ran straight over to her and gave her a big hug....actually, through out the event, Mary gave the bunny lots of hugs and kisses.
I wasn't so sure about that bunny. At first, I ran over to the her, just like all the other kids. But, then she waved at me. I stopped dead in my tracks, made a 180 and ran back to the safety of my wagon. I tried to approach the bunny a few times, but I really didn't like getting too close.
Finally, the hunt started. Mary and I ran around and searched for eggs, granddad and dad helped out and grandma hid in the bushes and took pictures of us.
Yellow...... Blue..... Oooo (orange).... red... I named all the colors as I found the eggs.
Mary found a lot of eggs too.
There was candy inside the eggs and in some of them there were numbers. Mary and I both found numbers in our eggs and we won more candy.
Back at home, we decided to go for one more round and we found more eggs with more candy and money inside them. What a great weekend!
Tomorrow (Sunday) there is a neighborhood Easter egg hunt and we are going! Since Easter was a year ago and I was only a little boy back then... and because we wanted to have some fun, dad hid some eggs and the hunt was on. I found all the eggs and in some of them, I found cash.
This morning, we headed over to Pasadena, "picked up" grandma, granddad and Mary and then we all headed over to Kemah Boardwalk. We did all the rides: train, submarine, merry go round and airplanes. The weather was great, it was sunny and warm.
Grandma, granddad and Mary left early. After they left, we headed over to the Cadillac Bar for lunch. We sat on the upper deck and watched all the boats sail by. At first, we had an umbrella at our table. But, a breeze picked it up and it flew over to the next table. Luckily no one was hurt, but I have never seen waiters move this fast and efficiently: They either removed or folded up all the other umbrellas.
On one boat, we saw a dog in a life vest....hmmm interesting
See, here is the train, we rode in.
After lunch, we hit the rides again. After trying most of them one more time, we decided to head home. We stopped in Pasadena and I played with everyone for a little bit.
Gizmo and I had a little disagreement about one of his toys.
Grandma and Mary.
Granddad, Mary and I played with the tracks and all the other toys. I wanted to stay there and didn't want to go home.... at all. Mom and dad tried to talk me into leaving, then they pretended to leave, but I just waved back at them and said see you. Their last attempt was to ask if I could stay and then they could take Mary instead... to this I fully agreed. Unfortunately, I didn't get to stay... protesting, I was carried out to the car.
Tomorrow is Easter Egg Hunt Day and I am ready to find those eggs!!
I guess I was contagious because all of a sudden, all the spots jumped over on mamma and continued to migrate all over her face. YYeeeewww!
Finally, we were both well again. The spots jumped over on the mirror and resided there for a while..... forming all kinds of different patterns.....
Later, when the sun is out, it warms up some and I am about to melt. That is when I shed a few layers of clothes, and run around in shorts, t-shirt and still: my hat and gloves.... and one shoe.
Next morning... all over again..... layers and layers.
I have really fallen for my hats and like to wear them as much as I can...preferably all the time.
The days are longer and the weather a little better and we like to take advantage of it and go for long walks. It is still a little cool outside and when ever mom is a little cold, I am the one who get dressed in all the woolen clothes... go figure! At least, I get to wear my cool shades while cruising around.
With the sun and warmer weather comes the yard work. I am already hard at work to keep up our yard. Dad will like the yard when he comes home.
Everything is in bloom and it is such a nice view... all the new flowers.
Inside our house is also a very nice view...... specially when we are newly awake. It goes something like this: We woke up 5 minutes ago, got dressed in a hurry and now trying to put our shoes on. We cannot waste a minute, but have to rush outside to play.
We did manage to break away from playing outside all the time and squeezed in birthday party. Martha, who lives right next door, turned 10 and she had invited me over for cake. I loved the cake...I got to play outside in their back yard too, so it was fun....
It warmed up again. Sunday afternoon, I refused to take a nap. We walked over to the park and I played and played. I ran, climbed, sat in the swing and did the slide. There were several young boys and we all hung out and raced each other up and down the play gym. We finally said good bye and I fell asleep in the stroller on our way home......
My latest craze is our car. I love it! Every evening, when we come home, I refuse to go inside the house. I want to sit in the car. Sometimes, I pretend to be driving and sometimes, I'll watch dvds in the back or rearrange the dvds. Every now and then, mom will ask me if I am ready to come inside. I always say NO! because I am not done playing.
We went over to say hello to grandma and granddad on Sunday. Granddad had a bobo and we needed to make sure he was doing better. I wanted to spend the night .....just to be sure, but I could not and had to go home.
