Working out

I work out so hard these days. Some men use weights and fancy equipment, but that's not for me. I work out with my pacifiers. I am not sure what muscles I am giving a work out, but I give it my all!

At home today

Hi there!

Today, it was a sad day, because dad went into the airplane and the airplane is taking him far far away. We got up early this morning, got ready and went to the airport. We said good bye to dad, I waved, but then I saw a bunch of airplanes! They were parked all around us. On our way home, a big airplane crossed a bridge as we were driving underneath it. All I could do was stare, point and say:DDAAHHHHHHH??????

Right after we came back home, grandad walked in the door and we have played all day today. We went to the store and I got a car that plays Tutti Frutti and sometimes I'll twist to the music. Grandad showed me that 'new' dance move. I also got a balloon, but it got loose and it headed straight up into the sky. Maybe dad will fly by it, who knows?? I stayed at home today, because my chest was really tight over the weekend and I had a hard time breathing. Yesterday, I woke up with a little cold and mom and dad decided to keep me at home today, to make sure it didn't get worse. I still have a little cold, but nothing serious.

Tonight, after dinner, I got to take a bath in the den, in front of the fireplace. We made the house nice and warm and got a fire going. I had a great time. In the end, everything around me was soaked and I had to get out of the bath and get my pj's on.
I love a good bath with lots of bubbles, specially in front of the fireplace. I had a great time today.

The Zoo - again

We went to the zoo again!! We weren't planning on going because it was supposed to rain today. But it turned out to be a beautiful day, so we decided to go. It was perfect weather to play outside and roam around in the zoo. On our way to the zoo, I took a short nap in the car. But woke up when we drove through downtown. There were too many cars around us, too many sky scrapers and airplanes to fall back asleep.

When we made it to the zoo, we headed straight for the cafeteria. I fell asleep right before lunch and mom and dad thought I was starving. We sat down at an outside table and I barely ate two bites, I was way too busy feeding the birds and chasing the pigeons.

After lunch, we headed straight to the children's zoo. There we saw all kinds of animals: Owls, porcupines, dear, ducks, fish, otters and all kinds of animals. We also walked through huge enclosed area where birds were flying around freely. Oh, we also walked across this bridge. It moved as we were walking across it. I did good, didn't even fall.
After we crossed the bridge, we came across a big nest with two gigantic eggs. OK, guys, breakfast is on me - egg omelet sound good?? I guess one egg should do.
Dad and I crawled up into this bubble. We had a good view of all the small critters around us. It was pretty cool.
We saw a lot of big animals too. The giraffe was the biggest one... at least the tallest one. It was peaking in to a zoo keeper. Maybe they played peek-a-boo. I wonder how many scarves it takes to keep it warm during winter??
We finally made it to the latest exhibition. The sign said Benjaminus Cutus. The little critter lives off attention and hugs and also an occasional leaf.
I got to pet the goats. They were just laying there resting. I think I managed to pet all of them... at least most of them.Afterwards, I had to wash my hands. But I didn't mind. I love playing with water. My fingers, hands, arms, the sink, and everything else around me was clean when I was done at the sink.
The Carousel was fun! I was a little nervous at first, but after one round, it was pure fun. First, mom and I rode on the panda.
Then it was dad's turn and we chose the cheetah.
And round and round we went...
I had a great time. I walked most of the time and only sat in the stroller for a little bit. I got to say hello to all the animals and the other kids. I fell asleep in the car on the way home..zzzzz

Didgeridoo

Can you guess if I am the guy on the left or the guy on the right? I thought so, it's difficult to see who's who, don't you think?? For your information, I am the one on the left.

This is a didgeridoo, it's an instrument from Australia. I am a good didgeridoo player. I say: "hhhuuuuuh" into one end and in the other end comes out: "HHUUUUUUUUHH". Oh, and guess what? Swiss scientists claim that playing the didgeridoo for 25 minutes a day reduces snoring....... I've already ordered one for dad!!!

Rainy and cloudy

Today and these past days it's been overcast and rainy outside. Today, it got colder again. But who cares? I still want to go outside and play, period!! I put on my thick sweater, hat and boots. Lately I have been working on throwing the ball up on the roof. It's hard, because it's a long way up on the roof. It's a fun game though, because you never know where the ball will come back down.
See, too high.
Getting up on the climber is a piece of cake. In the beginning, I was not able to do it, but then dad added a couple of steps and now it's easy, all though, it's easier in shoes than boots. I huff and puff and struggle a little more in boots, but I can do it! When I am up top, I have a clear view of the planes flying by. See, there is one.
I have a full mouth of teeth! Well, not really, I still only have eight. Two are on their way, but have been for the past month, so I don't know what is going on. Maybe they just don't care too much for the toothbrush. This evening after dinner and putting on my pj's, dad and I played a funny game. He hid a ball under a cup, shuffled the cups and then I had to guess.... hhmmmm.....which one is it?
No, not that one. It was empty...
There it is!!! Later dad hid the pacifier instead of the ball and I guessed correctly most of the time. I am keeping a close eye on my pacifiers!!!!
I am growing these days and my feet are growing too... Currently, I am wearing a size 7 :)
Oh, and dad said they found Obi Wan!

Painter

This evening, I got to paint and I did good... It's still difficult to test the colors when I am not allowed to taste them, but it all worked out OK. I had a lot of colors to paint with: Yellow, green, red, blue, purple and the list goes on. I painted on the paper mostly and only had a few accidents painting on the table cover. I painted some on my own...
Mom and dad got to help out on some of the artworks. I showed them how to paint lines, dots and also how to mix colors.
A real painter takes his time and chooses his colors very carefully.
Here is a masterpiece, dad and I painted.

And here is one, mom and I did.
This is my autograph!!!
We've been busy today. I slept in a little this morning, so it was actually light outside by the time we stood up. I helped out with laundry today and pushed the laundry basket to and from the washer. I also took a long bath this morning. I love baths!! The second mom or dad get the shower going, I am first in line. Unfortunately, I am still a little too short to climb into the shower. After I woke up from my nap, we went over to Texas Roadhouse. And guess what?? You are actually supposed to throw the peanut shells on the floor. I had a blast and found out I am a natural, those shells flew on the floor like thick snow. Oh well, mom and dad will have an uphill battle trying to teach me table manners after today!!

Icicles

This morning when we woke up, icicles were hanging on the birdhouse and in the trees. They may not be big and impressive and we don't get a lot of snow around here either, but it's always a joy to see an occasional icicle or a snow flake here in Humble:)

A cold day

Here I am... all cool again. Mom was in the store doing the grocery shopping and dad and I hung out outside. I drove the motorbike and think I caught the attention of a couple of girls passing by. If I may say so myself: who can resist a guy like me?!!
These days it is a little chilly in our area. The temperatures will drop below freezing tonight and it may stay cool through out tomorrow too. This kind of cold weather isn't a common thing here and with the weather and possibly icy roads, there is a chance my daycare will be closed tomorrow. It will for sure not open until 10am
I did go to daycare this morning and I played with the other kids today. There is a girl at daycare who really likes me. Every morning, she comes straight over to greet me and she follows me around. I like her too. At the end of the day, mom came to pick me up. We went straight home and at home, dad waited for me. We put on some warm clothes and went outside to bbq some steaks. While waiting for the steaks, I played with my truck and watched airplanes. My Faroese hat kept my ears warm.
All though, in the end, my ears and nose got a little cold and I decided to go inside. The best part about this cold weather is that the fire is always going and our house is nice and cosy. I enjoy to play in front of the fire place. And, I am still working on my house chores. I have already swept most of the walls and I am practicing with my pacifier.
Oh, and guess what?? I am a real man now: I sit on my potty and read the latest golf magazine!! Ok, I admit it, I haven't figured out how to use the potty just yet... for now it's more fun to play with the lid.

This Weekend

"It's for you!".... This is my office. I have a laptop, 2 cell phones and an ipod... I am a busy man!!
We didn't do anything major this weekend. Yesterday, we cleaned out all the cabinets. I took care of the cabinets in the guest bathroom. I just sat in the cabinet and started cleaning out and tidying. I fit in the cabinet too, it's a big cabinet. I pulled out all the boxes, organized them, wasn't satisfied, pulled them out again and re-organized them.... finally, it looked good.
We also cleaned out in my bedroom and we filled up two boxes with toys and clothes, I've grown out of. Dad went up in the attic and mom and I handed him the boxes. I then climbed up there to make sure he'd stacked them well enough. It all looked good!
I climbed up the ladder all by myself.... one step at the time. Mom watched me and was ready to catch me if I fell. But I think she is just a little too concerned, because I am a good climber and I do not fall. This morning, dad and I got up early. At 8am, it was time for mom to get out of bed. I pulled on the bed cover until she woke up, and I told her it was time to get up. But, when she didn't get out of bed, I just started to make the bed. I threw all the pillows up on the bed and finally, she got the point and got out of bed.

Oh, and yesterday, we headed over to Casa Olé for lunch. I don't like to have to sit still in my chair and wait for the food. When it finally arrived, I sat still for a little bit and ate. When we were done, I got a green balloon and I got to step on to the escalator myself.... that was fun!
We went to the store for some groceries and I got to visit the toy section. I had a good time playing with all the balls.
This one is for you!!!

I am a big boy

Today I was a very big boy. Dad and I went to the doctor this morning. The doctor checked me and gave me a good report, but then she poked me with all these needles. They hurt a lot, but I was a big boy and only cried a little. When I felt better, we went home and dad and I have have our men-time together today. I enjoy our men-time.
Oh, and I am pretty clever. This evening, I grabbed a dining chair, pushed it into the kitchen, all the way up to the sink. I climbed up on it..... ok, mom helped out, but I tried... I stood up and got a hold of my juice.... When I was done, I put the juice down and climbed back down. Mission accomplished!

... see, I am a big boy!!

A good day

Good morning,

Here we are, dad and I, newly awake. Mom and dad had hoped I'd sleep a little longer this morning, but I was up at 6am. Last night, when we were driving home from the christmas party I woke up in the car and was pretty grumpy. We stopped at grandma and granddad so that I could cool down a little. Last night I woke up several times. I am teething and think this is what bothers me so that I wake up.

When we were fully awake, we took care of some of the trash. Tomorrow is trashday here and I helped out gathering some of the trash. I am pretty good at helping out at home.
Here are the presents I got yesterday at the Davis gathering: firetruck and pj's.
After spending the morning at home, we decided to go out for lunch. Since it's football sunday, what better than Hooters, hotwings and curly fries? Dad and I got to hang out with the Hooters girls and watch tv. We even took a photo with them and I could not get my eyes of them.
After lunch, we went out to play some minigolf. Dad gave me some lessons and helped me with the longer shots.
But, then I played myself. I can hit backwards..
And I like to take my time, concentrate, eye the ball, hole, green... and then I just decide it's a whole lot easier to just pick up the ball and throw it in.
Dad got to do some baseball. He hit the balls hard and he he hit them a loooong way.
We finished off with a little racing. Dad and I teamed up and raced agains mom. I drove our car. I am still too small to drive in the real cars and bumper boats, but for now, this will do.
On my way home, I crashed and slept for a good while. But, I did have a very good day.
