Benjamin and the planter box

I played outside on the patio this evening and fell and hit my face on the corner of the planter box. I cried because it hurt really bad and my face was bloody. At first, mamma and babba thought, I'd hurt my eye as well. Thankfully, my eye is fine.

I feel better now and am told, I look a little bit like a cool James Bond, after he beat up all the bad guys!

Annika

Mamma and I took Annika to the doctor this morning for her 6month check up. Everything went well and I was a really good boy - all though Annika didn't care for the needles.

Annika and I have a little cold right now. Our lungs are clear and no fever, which is good. Unfortunately, Annika has an ear infection in her left ear. Oh... we saw a couple of white buds on her lower gums this morning! Now, she will be able to bite hard! Gotta keep my fingers away from her mouth.

She now weighs 14lbs 4 3/4oz, almost triple her birth weight and she is 26 1/2in long - 9 inches longer since birth.

I stepped on the scale this morning too 31 1/2lbs - Great!!... I have been trying to get above 30lbs for so long.

Hugs and kisses

Benjamin

Tuck and Tumble Show

Last week was my Tuck and Tumble gymnastics finale. We've been practicing for months. In my group were Leo, John and I. We introduced ourselves and showed a couple of skills each.
Here is my handstand.
At the end of the show, medals were handed out to everyone. I received one medal and one 2nd place ribbon.
Here are two of my friends: John and Zoe.
Annika came to watch me. She had a good time too

I write cards by myself

I am very interested in letters and numbers and love to sit down and write on papers and cards. I like to write cards to mamma, babba and Annika. Sometimes, I will leave the cards on their bedside tables and I smile and giggle, when they find the cards. One day, mamma and I wrote cards and I wanted to write: I love you to everyone. Mamma stepped away from the table and I continued to practice my letters. I still needed some help and asked how to spell: I love Babba. Mamma, across the room, spelled out: "I.......L..O..V..E........B..A..B..B..A.."

Minutes later, I'd written this card, all by myself!:
I LOV BAAAB, BEn :)

Memorial Day Weekend

Last weekend was Memorial Day Weekend. Annika and I were spent one night at our grandparents while mamma and babba went to a movie and dinner.

We had fun at omma's and abba's house. We played and played and played and played..... Mamma and babba stayed overnight at an hotel and got to sleep in. Meanwhile, Annika and I woke up extra early. We had breakfast and continued playing.
Later, mamma and babba brought lunch, we played some more and went home. Oh, I took this photo myself.
Sunday morning and we were couch potatoes. I played with Annika and held her while we watched tv. I really love my little sister.
Later that day, mamma and I went to the store to get some groceries and items for the get together. All the people were smiling at me at the store, because I was walking around with a bag of chips and talking on my Mickey cell phone. I type myself: vdggfggffffffffffffffgfff vsxzfdfsfgfgfgdfdfdfdfdfdg ttr xfdfxdddxferssfssddfdfddggdhdfsxvcbdndnndnddddndndndndndddddnndndnndndndndgfdfffffffgfdhd sds BEN zcxxva
Back at home, I baked the bread and mamma helped out.
My aunt and uncle's pool was fun as always and it was good to see everyone again.
Alyssa turns 17 this week, so we sang happy birthday to her.
Annika had fun too and enjoyed the hot tub too. Of course, we were tired by the time we headed home and fell asleep within minutes

Baseball

Last Thursday night I went to see baseball with babba, omma and abbi. The Astros played against Milwaukee. We had some good seats and a good view.
I wore my baseball shirt and brought my glove, just in case I might catch a fly ball.
And, guess what? I did....well, I got a fly ball, all though I didn't catch it myself. A man behind me caught it and gave it to me! Below is a short video clip. It's taken right after I received the baseball. All the commotion was unexpected and I didn't know what to make of it all.
