Saving up for my own car

When mom came to pick me up on Friday at the daycare, all the toys in my room were gone. We had put them all in boxes and put them up in a storage room. I was a good helper. All the updates and work at our daycare is almost done. We have some nice, new hardwood floors and on Monday, we will have all new furniture. I am looking forward to Monday morning.Since dad was out playing golf and mom picked me up late, we stopped at Wendy's on our way home. I love fries and nuggets!
Later in the evening all the other kids came out to play and I got to ride around Delany's Barbie Jeep. I really like her car and ask for a ride every time I see her. The only thing I don't like: the color of the car. I am not really into pink.
One day, I want to buy my own car and I am saving up for it too. This morning, I jumped out of bed and went to the bank with all my savings. First, we poured all the coins into the coin counter and then we deposited all my money in the bank. At the bank, they were very happy to get all my money and gave me a lollipop in return. I plan on saving up more money for a really cool car and not just an old clunker.
See all the coins in my jar?
All the Halloween stuff is already on the shelves at the stores. Mom and dad tried on a few of the masks. Dad tried on this one and said, he used to have big, curly hair like this when he was younger. I don't know. I didn't care too much for all the masks. As long as they lay on the shelves and didn't move, I was OK with them.
Grandma and granddad came by earlier today to say hello and I ended up going home with them. Dad asked me if I wanted to go with them. I just replied: Yeah!, got my shoes, put them on and headed for the door. Why wait? I love hanging out over at their house!

Excavator

Every morning and every evening, we pass by an excavator. I always ask for it (a long time) before we drive by it. I call it "boyj" for "broyt". This evening, mom and I went out on a bike ride and guess what? We headed straight over to the excavator to see it up close. I didn't say a word while we were there, all I could do was look and make sure, my eyes didn't fall out of my head! The excavator is really big!
That is where the operator sits when he drives the excavator. (Ma boyj bbblllll). I wanted to climb in there and drive the excavator, but I guess I am still too little.
The only thing om my mind all night has been the boyj.

Taking a bath

Every night, when it is time to head inside and get ready for bed, mom and dad ask me to take a bath. I don't mind a bath every now and then. A bath a month or so would be OK, I don't see why I have to take a bath every night? I'll just get dirty the next day anyway. I usually try and run away, hide or try anything to avoid the bathtub. Unfortunately, I almost always end up in the bathtub, regardless my efforts to stay away . In the bathtub, I usually end up having a good time. The bathtub is always full of bubbles and toys. Lately, I have preferred to play with the wash rag. See, when I was a baby, I used to wear a bib just like this.I also use the washrag to wash my hair, face and fingers.
Yeah! all done!
Ha ha ha, I heard glasses are back in style!!

Back in the old days...

Or, at least, that is how old the photos look. Mom and I came across her old camera and found that a few shots were left. We took some photos and developed the film roll. I didn't know that is how people used to get their photos. I felt really old fashioned picking up a stack of negatives! Strange camera!?! The film roll showed sign of aging - but no wonder, it was 4 years old.

Early in 2003 mom and dad went to St. Louis and there they watched baseball. Houston Astros and St. Louis Cardinals played and the Astros won after a long and cold game.
Summer 2003: Not to forget (all though, I don't even remember, since I wasn't even born yet) ... all the bricks in our back yard. Mom and dad had just purchased their first house and a couple of weeks later it rained so bad, the entire back yard turned into a big pool. Dad wanted to dig a drain to lead all the water away, but found nothing but bricks, when he started digging. I think, he still has some kind of brick phobia.
Summer 2003: Lake Travis, Austin. Mom and dad went on a weekend trip. Beautiful, don't you think?
Early 2004: Mom and dad went to the Houston Rodeo for a concert.
September 2007: Finally! Here I am!! I love to play with water - like usual. I think just about everything with in spraying distance has been watered enough to last through the rest of the summer.
On Saturday (2007) we went over to Mountasia to play mini golf. I won! I got only 10 points. Mom was number two with 50 points and dad came in way, way last with 51 points.
I had a good time looking through all the old photos. One thing is for sure, they didn't take near as many photos back then as they do now!

Misc

We haven't done a whole lot this week. I spent some days at daycare and some days at home with dad. One day, dad and I went to the store to get groceries. Back at home, we took a break and enjoyed a cupcake. I am getting better at eating the cupcakes. Now, I only get a little bit of the icing on my face. When I was a little boy, I used to be a mess :)The latest thing is the slide. I have a slide in the back yard and at first, I try to climb up the slide. I make it about half the way up, but then slide back down.
Today, was no different and when I had finally made it up top and was about to slide down, a motor bike drove by and I stopped dead in my tracks. I LOVE motor bikes. They look cool and they are loud and say: wwrruuuummm!!
I have also been a good helper outside lately. I have squirted all the spiders with my water gun. I guess, you can call it pest control :) Anyway, they don't stand a chance. I got two this evening. Here are dad's and my lawn care equipment: lawn mower, weed eater and trimmer. We have one set each.
